WHAT IS WALL SAWING?
In addition to core drilling, wall sawing is one of our other core competencies. Wall sawing is often also referred to as CONCRETE SAWING, but is actually a subcategory thereof. The saws, which can work very quietly and cleanly, are used. Noise and dust are reduced to a minimum, and there is no large amount of waste. This is due to the fact that with wall sawing, the demolition pieces can be broken down into very small parts. Working is possible with precision, so windows, doors, and other openings can be created exactly where desired. In wall sawing, a saw is used that functions like a large circular saw. The saw is guided on rails, so working along a predetermined line is no problem.
WHY WALL SAWING?
The wall sawing technique can be used to dismantle concrete, reinforced concrete, and all kinds of natural stone. The advantages of working with the wall saw are primarily in vibration-free work, combined with a very low dust load. Therefore, the wall saw is mainly used in properties that are to be renovated in the context of protected monument construction. This is particularly true when openings are to be created in reinforced buildings. Wall sawing works are used, for example, in demolition. Here, a distinction is made between gentle and brute force demolition, with the latter form partially or completely demolishing a property. The wall saw is also used when it comes to gentle demolition. This is the case when, for example, balconies are to be demolished from a building. The wall saw is capable of making the cut exactly and separating the balcony without further damage.
